1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data or text files placed on your local computer by websites and applications. These cookies can serve various purposes: for example, there are technical cookies (e.g. language settings), session cookies (temporary cookies) and tracking cookies (cookies that track and rxecord your behaviour on the website in order to offer you a more optimal user experience).

The Belgian Electronic Communications Act includes some provisions relating to cookies and their use on websites. The Belgian implementation is derived from the European ePrivacy Directive, which implies that cookie use and cookie legislation are regulated differently in each European country. MobilityPlus is an online trading platform that focuses primarily on the Belgian market and therefore follows the Belgian interpretation.

2. What are these cookies for?

MobilityPlus wants to keep you as well informed as possible about this new legislation and about which cookies it uses. By using this website, you agree to the use of cookies. Cookies help MobilityPlus to optimise your visit to the website, to remember technical choices (for example, a language choice, newsletter, etc.), and to show you more relevant services and offers.

If you want to consult the MobilityPlus website, it is recommended that you have cookies enabled. Without enabling cookies, we may not be able to guarantee a problem-free visit to the website. If you would rather not accept these cookies, you are free to disable them (see also the section “How can I manage my cookies?”).

We use cookies to help improve your experience on our website. The cookies that we use are safe. The information that we collect through the use of cookies helps us to identify any errors or to show you specific services that we think may be important to you. We may store information that is directly related to you. In addition, we may also use cookies from carefully selected partners with whom we work and who advertise our services on their website.

3. What kinds of cookies does MobilityPlus use?

We use two types of cookie, namely our own functional cookies and cookies from carefully selected partners with whom we work and who advertise our services on their website. The following partners are involved:

5. I am not from Belgium. Is a different form of consent required for my country?

It is possible that not all visitors to the online store will be Belgian nationals. European Member States often implement cookie legislation very differently, making it difficult for the person concerned to decide how to give his or her consent. MobilityPlus strives to pursue the correct implementation method for each Member State, as far as this is technically and materially possible.

6. What are my rights?

Since cookies may involve the processing of personal data, you have the right as a data subject to the lawful and secure processing of personal data. Data subjects can exercise the following rights:

Right to object: if there are serious and justified reasons to do so, you can object to the processing of personal data.

Right to access: Any data subject who can prove his or her identity has a right to access the information relating to whether his or her personal data is being processed, as well as the purposes of such processing, the categories of data to which such processing relates and the categories of recipients to whom the data is disclosed.

Right to rectification: Inaccurate or incomplete personal data can always be rectified or erased at the request of the data subject.

These rights are exercised in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in our Privacy Statement. If you still have any questions or comments about cookies after reading the Cookie Statement, please feel free to contact us at: info@mobilityplus.be
